About The Position
Ascension Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager for their Cardiovascular department in Waco, TX. This is a full-time, day shift position. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff throughout their lifecycle, resolving clinical issues to optimize patient care, designing policies and procedures, and managing unit budgets and expenditures.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience AND 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Responsibilities
- Ensure absolute compliance with all health-care accreditation, regulatory, and safety requirements across the unit.
- Lead the recruitment, training, professional development, and performance evaluation of departmental staff.
- Pro-actively identify and resolve systemic barriers to optimize the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Design and implement clinical policies and procedures that maximize efficiency and care effectiveness.
- Manage unit budgets and oversee expenditures to drive fiscal responsibility and resource alignment.
