About The Position
13-week Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) assignment in Boone, Iowa, working 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM–3:00 PM with a 40-hour guaranteed workweek. Call rotation is required. The OR RN will provide perioperative nursing care by preparing patients and the operating room, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and ensuring safe, efficient care throughout the surgical process. Candidates should be prepared to participate in a facility interview.
Requirements
- Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to participate in required call rotation
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical safety, and perioperative standards
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience circulating a variety of surgical procedures
