About The Position
A long-term care facility in Vestal, New York is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 16-week contract assignment. The role involves providing direct patient care in an LTC setting, supporting resident health needs, and ensuring safe, high-quality nursing care.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical and patient care skills required
- Ability to work mid shift schedule required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year LTC experience preferred (rehab, med-surg, or hospital experience also considered)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
- Monitor patient conditions and document changes
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for care planning
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to care standards
