About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse, Level 2 position in Imaging Sciences at Strong West. The role involves being part of an interdisciplinary clinical team providing care to Emergency Department and outpatients undergoing diagnostic studies, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, and DEXA Scans. The position requires strong assessment, communication, and IV and CVC accessing skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize patient care needs in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Minimum of 1 – 2 years acute care experience required.
Strong assessment skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong IV and CVC accessing skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize delivery of patient care needs in a fast-paced environment.
ACLS and PEARS certification required within one year.

Responsibilities

Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
Contribution to unit activities and support of the enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
Support of peers in the delivery of patient care services.
Assumption of an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
Providing care to Emergency Department and outpatients undergoing diagnostic studies, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, and DEXA Scans.
