About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse ā Labor & Delivery for an exciting Contract job in Sweetwater, TX. This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts available. The role involves providing direct patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit, monitoring maternal and fetal conditions, assisting with labor, delivery, and postpartum care, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining patient documentation.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Prior Labor & Delivery experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Experience working in acute care Labor & Delivery settings.
- Strong maternal and newborn patient care skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Respond to changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions.
