About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ā Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) or higher.
- Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child Health experience.
- Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience.
- AHA BLS Certification.
- AHA ACLS Certification.
- NRP Certification.
- Strong clinical judgment in high-risk obstetric settings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients.
- Continuously monitor maternal and fetal status.
- Assist physicians, midwives, and surgical teams during deliveries.
- Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and critical situations.
- Support newborn stabilization and immediate neonatal care.
- Document all patient care accurately in EMR systems.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
