About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit is responsible for managing and providing patient care for antepartum, labor, delivery, and post-partum patients. The nurse must be skilled in conducting cervical exams, administering amnio infusions and epidurals, performing fetal monitoring and IV administration, and circulating C-sections. Experience with post-partum care from transition to discharge is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
- BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications
- Experience with Epic EMR is strongly preferred
- Comfortable handling all aspects of post-partum care
Nice To Haves
- Experience with post-partum care from transition to discharge is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities

- Perform fetal monitoring and assist in deliveries
- Circulate during C-sections and provide newborn care
