About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery at an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. This is a 13-week travel contract with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 36 hours per week. The assignment is scheduled to start on November 16, 2026. One opening is available. Estimated travel pay is $2,340 per week; the local candidate rate is $51 per hour. VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter from submission through the nurse’s last shift. The company also provides assistance with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Iowa RN license or multistate (compact) RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current NRP certification.
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
