About The Position
This position is for a Labor/Postpartum Registered Nurse whose responsibility is to provide day-to-day patient care activities to patients receiving therapeutic and diagnostic services in Perinatal Services.
Requirements
- Education level equivalent to an associate degree in nursing required.
- Clinical competence in nursing required.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS, NRP, STABLE certification required within ninety (90) days of initial employment.
- Minimum of three (3) months medical surgical experience, if new graduate nurse.
Nice To Haves
- Subsequent recertification of STABLE is not required for L&D nurses.
- Subsequent recertification is required for Nursery Nurses.
- Instructor certifications do not replace provider certification requirements.
