About The Position
Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Labor and Delivery team. This position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with night shifts and on-call shifts required. The role involves utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating tasks, supervising other patient care staff, and coordinating the plan of care for assigned patients. The clinical nurse must demonstrate proficiency and adhere to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- 1 year Applicable Experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree

Responsibilities
- Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Responsible for performing patient care.
- Responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
- Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
- Consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
