About The Position

Responsible and accountable for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of human response to actual or potential physical and emotional health problems. Performs diagnostic and interventional radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed invasive radiologist, utilizing radiation-producing equipment within established departmental guidelines serving adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
  • Critical Care experience required.
  • One-year clinical experience in specialty area required for per diem positions.
  • Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS required.
  • Dysrhythmia certification required.
  • Demonstrate effective written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
  • Moderate sedation administration and monitoring experience preferred.
  • National Certification in area of specialty preferred.
