About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse- Interventional Radiology for a 13-week travel assignment in Evanston, IL. This role involves a 10-hour day shift from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The position requires one weekend per month (Friday-Monday AM) or serving as the third person on a Saturday or Sunday. Additionally, on-call duties are expected 8-10 days a month with specific call radius requirements (45 minutes for IR body, 30 minutes for IR neuro). Holiday coverage may be required as needed. Orientation includes one week with shadow call and 16 hours of non-billable orientation.

Requirements

IR/Neuro experience +2 years, stroke, PE, lysis UFE, moderate sedation
Labor and Delivery competent
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certified
WI RN license required
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

+ 3 years of IR/neuro preferred

Responsibilities

Inserting, maintaining, and removing intravenous lines for safe medication and contrast dye delivery
Reviewing allergies, patient history, and physical assessment findings with the patient and medical team prior to surgery
Educating patients and family members on post-operative plans and procedures
Assisting surgeons during neurological and vascular angiography (setting up supplies, passing guide wires and catheters, preparing sterile trays and equipment, handing over instruments and supplies, etc.)
Monitoring for and addressing intraoperative complications (oversedation, cardiac arrhythmia, respiratory decompensation, acid/base imbalance, etc.)
