About The Position

Interventional Radiology uses minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. The Registered Nurse applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. They effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team and collaborate in establishing patient goals and evaluating progress to ensure effective outcomes. The role also involves furthering professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved discipline program
1 year RN experience
Active RN license

Nice To Haves

At least one year of ICU or ED experience

Responsibilities

Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes.

Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.

Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
