About The Position

The Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology provides nursing care as part of a specialized interventional radiology procedural team at a healthcare facility in Rochester, New York. This is an onsite, three-month contract assignment scheduled for 36 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities. The schedule includes two 8-hour shifts and two 10-hour shifts per week, with possible 8-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and a 10-hour shift from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The nurse must meet on-call requirements, including arriving onsite within 30 minutes when called in. The assignment includes one weekend on-call commitment per four-week time block, plus two to three weekdays, and one holiday on-call requirement per contract period. Local candidates who reside within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted; first-time travelers are accepted. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Requirements

At least one year of nursing experience.
Current New York RN license; New York is not a Compact state.
ACLS certification.
BLS certification.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is unavailable.
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
Must be able to meet the on-call response requirement and arrive onsite within 30 minutes when called in.

Nice To Haves

Neurointerventional experience is a plus.
First-time travelers are accepted.
