About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glens Falls, NY. This position involves night shifts and requires flexibility to float to other units. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and discharge coordination to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience
  • Minimum 5 years RN experience
  • Willing to float to Med Surg/Tele when needed
  • EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Travel experience is required
  • Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • BLS/BCLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
  • Must complete additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, utilizing age specific data, the patient’s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status in a comprehensive manner
  • Demonstrates accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patient, based on scientific facts and principles
  • Performs initial assessment and completes required documentation within organizational standards
  • Performs and documents ongoing assessments including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention
  • Participates in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Assists other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriate
  • Incorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
