About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glens Falls, NY. This contract is for 12-hour Day shifts, 36 hours per week with 24 hours guaranteed. The nurse must be willing to float to other units where their experience is applicable. The start date is July 16, 2026, and the contract duration is 13 weeks. The hourly pay is $29.20 with a non-taxed stipend of $1246.00, resulting in a weekly total pay of $2034.40. Weekend requirements include working every other weekend. COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not required. Personal scrubs of any color are permitted, but no designs, cartoons, or hoodies. Any requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload, with no more than 5 days accepted.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience
  • Minimum 5 years RN experience
  • Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Tele when needed
  • EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Travel experience is required
  • Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle
  • MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have BLS/BCLS Certification
  • Must have ACLS Certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, utilizing age specific data, the patient’s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status in a comprehensive manner
  • Demonstrates accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patient, based on scientific facts and principles
  • Performs initial assessment and completes required documentation within organizational standards
  • Performs and documents ongoing assessments including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention
  • Participates in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Assists other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriate
  • Incorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
