About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Concord, New Hampshire. The RN will provide high-acuity critical care to complex patients requiring advanced monitoring, specialized equipment, vasoactive support, and rapid clinical intervention. Candidates should be strong, independent critical care nurses with experience across a variety of ICU patient populations. CVICU experience is highly preferred. This position requires floating to other clinically appropriate units based on patient-care and staffing needs. The ICU Registered Nurse will provide skilled, adaptable, and patient-centered critical care while supporting safe outcomes across high-acuity clinical environments.

Requirements

  • Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License Required at Time of Submission.
  • Minimum 2–3 Years of Recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Experience Required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
  • Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required; First-Time Travelers Will Not Be Considered.
  • Must Be Comfortable Floating to ED, Stepdown, Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Other Clinically Appropriate Units.

Nice To Haves

  • CVICU Experience Highly Preferred.
  • Cerner Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring, complex interventions, and rapid response to changes in clinical condition.
  • Provide nursing care for patients requiring advanced therapies and equipment including IABP, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, targeted temperature management, and rapid infusion.
  • Administer critical-care medications and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide safe, evidence-based critical care while working independently in a fast-paced ICU environment.
  • Float as required to the Emergency Department, Stepdown, Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and other appropriate clinical areas based on staffing needs.
