About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide holiday coverage from September 28th or October 5th through January 9th. This position requires the ability to work EOW (Every Other Weekend) on a 7p-7a shift. The ideal candidate will be a strong, self-starting nurse with experience in a variety of care settings and the ability to work independently and quickly. Experience with CVICU is highly desired. The nurse may be required to float to other units, including Stepdown, Med Surg (with modified assignment), and potentially Behavioral Health. The position also involves the use of specialized equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, Artic Sun or TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infuser. There is a possibility of floating to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin.

Requirements

Up to date resume
2-3 years of ICU experience (strong experience preferred if closer to 2 years)
Experience in a variety of care settings
Ability to work independently and quickly
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
Drivers license with address matching demographics
RN Skills Checklist matching specialty
RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at time of submission
Experience with Cerner preferred, but not required
Ok with floating to Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.
Administer medications and treatments.
Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
Operate and manage specialized medical equipment.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Float to other units as needed, including ED, Stepdown, Med Surg, and potentially Behavioral Health.
Work EOW on a 7p-7a shift.
Provide holiday coverage.
