About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position is for weekend block shifts, specifically Saturdays, Sundays, and one weekday shift. The role requires PALS certification and preferably NRP. Candidates must be open to floating to other units and must work at least one holiday if it falls within the contract period. Experience in a Level IV/surgical NICU is required. Common diagnoses treated include CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative conditions. This is a nicotine-free facility, and testing for nicotine is mandatory along with a drug screen, with no exceptions. A flu vaccine is also mandatory, with no exceptions for religious or medical reasons.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in a Level IV/surgical NICU.
• PALS certification.
• Must be nicotine-free (testing required).
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must have flu vaccine (no exceptions).

Nice To Haves

• NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Work weekend block shifts (Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday).
• Float to other units as needed.
