About The Position

This is a 14-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that cares for adult patients aged 16 and up. The patient population includes individuals with Sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular conditions, strokes, and those requiring vents and trachs. The unit is trained in advanced technologies such as Impellas, IABP, and CRRT (SBL uses Prismax).

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification

Nice To Haves

• CCRN certification

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 14-bed ICU unit for adult patients (16+).
• Manage patients with conditions including Sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular issues, strokes, and those on vents and trachs.
• Utilize expertise in Impellas, IABP, and CRRT (Prismax).
• Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical/Surgical units as needed.
