About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 12-week travel assignment in Glenview, IL. This role involves assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and documenting findings. The nurse will participate in multidisciplinary care planning, assist other staff, and coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. The position requires the ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to participate in continuing education.

Requirements

Must have 3 yrs CV ICU
Must have Illinois State License
Must have Epic experience
Must have ACLS and NIHSS certification
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Pass an EKG test
Pass drug screen and background check
Complete additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

Assesses, utilizing age specific data, the patient’s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status in a comprehensive manner
Demonstrates accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patient, based on scientific facts and principles
Performs initial assessment and completes required documentation within organizational standards
Performs and documents ongoing assessments including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention
Participates in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Assists other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriate
Incorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes
Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
