About The Position

Saint Luke's Hospital Crittenton Children's Center has an opportunity for a RN to work in our Admissions Department. This is a Full Time position. The role involves participating in and/or completing Nurse-to-Nurse report calls with referring facilities to gather pertinent clinical information and ensure continuity of care. The RN will facilitate the admission workflow, including consent paperwork, documentation, orders, and coordination with providers and the multidisciplinary team. Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and collaborating with the onsite treatment team to ensure a smooth transition to the unit are key responsibilities. The position also involves assisting with telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. The ideal candidate can work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously, possesses excellent customer service skills, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times. Responsibilities include collecting detailed patient history and symptoms, including vital signs, and providing appropriate care in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree - Nursing
