About The Position
The River Hospital Inpatient Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team on a per diem basis. A clinically competent registered, licensed nurse who provides immediate, specialized emergency care with a multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team. Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Requirements
- Valid and current registration, New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification within the first 60 days of hire.
- Must possess the physical ability to perform CPR.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred minimum of two years of inpatient experience but new graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate, specialized emergency care with a multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team.
- Possesses the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.
- Complies with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.
