Pulse Vascular is seeking a Per Diem RN for our Vineland, NJ office location. This role involves creating a positive patient care environment by evaluating, planning, and implementing effective care plans and communication with patients and families. The RN acts as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, makes sound decisions in response to changes in patient condition, and utilizes Electronic Health Record systems to document patient care accurately. The position requires coordinating effectively with physicians and team members, providing individualized, age-appropriate, safe, and quality patient care throughout all phases of procedures, and serving as a resource to promote optimum patient care outcomes. The RN assumes accountability for daily clinical operations, including caring for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patients, administering sedation and analgesia, and monitoring patients as appropriate. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives is also a key responsibility. The role involves maintaining nursing operations by enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies, completing patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff, and following up on work results. Providing information to patients and the healthcare team, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, safeguarding patient confidentiality, and managing nursing supplies inventory are also part of the duties. Fostering a cooperative relationship among the healthcare team is essential.
