About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Surgical unit. This role involves performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will be responsible for admitting patients, conducting rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overseeing the overall care of patients. The position emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to patient safety, quality, service, and integrity within an organization dedicated to improving health and serving its communities.

Requirements

RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN
RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
BLS within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Previous RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

Performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, and evaluation).
