About The Position

Our company, Amerita, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our specialty infusion clinic. We focus on providing complex pharmaceutical products and outstanding clinical services to patients outside of the hospital setting. Medications you will infuse include Immunoglobulin Therapy, IV Antibiotics, Anti-inflammatory Biologics, Inotropes, and Specialty medications. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Frequently sitting, standing, walking, typing on a keyboard with fingers.
• Occasionally bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), crouching and stooping.
• Ability to push/pull 21-30 lbs and lift/carry 1-10 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous infusion experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion nursing services, state laws and regulations.
• Adheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association.
• Collaborates with Mosaic staff to develop and monitor goals of patients’ therapies.
• Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients’ needs.
• Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients.
