About The Position

Practices professional nursing at an excellent level within the Goshen nursing model of care keeping a primary focus on the patient/family using the nursing process, culturally appropriate interventions, and holistic principles with attention to continuity of care and patient advocacy, while maintaining a safe environment. Is a leader in professional nursing both in direct care and in colleague relationships using ethical principles, collaboration, peer review, evidence based practice, and teaching & learning principles. Responsible for direct patient care, assisting physician and nurse practitioners with office visits, telephone triage, chemotherapy administration, minor office procedures and assisting with radiation therapies.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana State RN license
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• One year Med/Surg experience

Nice To Haves

• Basic Dysrhythmia Course
• One to two years’ experience in outpatient clinic or physician office
• OCN and/or CRNI certifications preferred
• Oncology Nursing Certification
• ACLS
