About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed care to patients and families at a competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. This role is in Medical-Surgical 1 at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is offered to experienced new hires.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
