About The Position

The Registered Nurse II provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families. Care includes comprehensive patient assessment, developing and implementing nursing care plans, patient education, and ongoing evaluation. Nursing care is based on theoretical principles and scientific knowledge and is provided within the scope of the California Nurse Practice Act and the PAMF policy Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care. Employees may handle hazardous drugs as part of their work, in accordance with NIOSH identification and USP 800 guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification, required upon hire.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to accept, adapt to, and evaluate change.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and take on a leadership role when appropriate.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience; recent experience is strongly preferred.
