Ready to be the superhero of our nursing unit? As our Registered Nurse II Neighborhood/Unit Manager, you'll be the captain of our care crew, steering the ship of established policies and programs. You'll orchestrate the symphony of nursing care, conduct the chorus of scheduling and personnel management, and ensure our PPS and MDS compliance hits all the right notes. Your superpower? Coordinating care based on each resident's unique needs and preferences. You'll also be our talent scout, helping select and mentor our amazing C.N.A.s, L.P.N.s, and R.N.s. Get ready to be the coach, cheerleader, and MVP all rolled into one!

Requirements

  • A licensed Registered Nurse in the State of practice
  • At least 2 years of adventure in a Skilled Nursing Community.
  • 1-2 years of herding cats... er, we mean supervising and managing direct reports.
  • Health Department regulations, including the thrilling world of annual Federal and State Health Department surveys, PPS, MDS, and OBRA requirements.
  • Ability to wrangle Microsoft Office, Windows, and other software programs relevant to the job.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • The ability to make everyone feel like a VIP, even on Mondays.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally/20 pounds frequently.
  • Master of the sit-stand-bend combo.
  • Impervious to interruptions.
  • A natural at mingling with donors, families, volunteers, residents, and staff.
  • Frequent interactions with stakeholders, applicants, hiring managers, developers, consultants, and brokers.

  • Monitor residents' needs, swoop in with timely interventions, and spread the word to your fellow heroes.
  • Daily rounds? More like daily adventures in quality care!
  • Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes for pre-admission assessments.
  • Embrace your inner tech guru! Evaluate and implement new gadgets and gizmos to make our care even more fantastic.
  • Be the go-to guru for staff in those heart-racing moments of clinical emergencies and resident status changes.
  • Don your auditor hat and perform compliance checks.
  • Orchestrate care plans and patient care conferences like a maestro.
  • Become the MDS compliance wizard (magic wand not included, but highly recommended).
  • Channel your inner paperwork ninja, ensuring admission documents are complete, accurate, and up to snuff with company standards.
  • Put on your detective hat to recognize signs and symptoms, then flex those decision-making muscles to choose the best treatment or procedures.
  • Be the ultimate communicator! Whether it's nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, residents, or family members, you'll be the link that keeps everyone in the loop.
  • Embrace your inner superhero by being on call when needed.
  • Join forces with the Director of Nursing to interview, develop, and guide our frontline staff.
  • Be ready for surprise quests... er, we mean other duties as assigned.
