About The Position
At CommonSpirit Mountain Region, Holy Cross Hospital - Davis, founded in 1976, has grown into a 220-bed hospital serving the flourishing communities of northern Utah. They offer a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable patient experience. To meet growing needs, a new 16,000-square-foot Weber Campus was opened in Roy, providing emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The location offers quick access to Ogden, Salt Lake City, Antelope Island State Park, hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities. Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing required
- Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred for experienced RNs
- One year experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
