About The Position

This is a full-time, night shift position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The hospital, established in 1965 as Corona Community Hospital and later merged to become Corona Regional Medical Center, is a 238-bed community hospital network. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs over 1,250 healthcare workers, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties. Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services, this role involves accountability for all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care using the Nursing Process and adhering to the California Nurse Practice Act. The position requires maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU, as well as supervising nursing personnel.

Requirements

  • Current California RN license required.
  • Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Accountability of all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and within the guidelines of the State of California Nurse Practice Act.
  • Maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU.
  • Supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.
