About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care to support patient safety, comfort, and positive health outcomes. The nurse will develop and manage individualized care plans, closely monitoring patient progress and adjusting care to meet changing needs. Key responsibilities include communicating patient updates clearly with physicians and the care team to ensure timely decisions and seamless care delivery, coordinating care across disciplines, and guiding discharge planning to help patients and families transition safely from hospital to home or the next level of care.

Requirements

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
