Registered Nurse I (RN) - IV Team
About The Position
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Skills you will learn-Ultrasound guided PIV placements, Midline and PICC line placements, administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, insertion of SBFT’s, and therapeutic phlebotomy. We round on all central lines/midlines daily and document line necessity on central lines. Our team focuses on preventing central line blood stream infections.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experienced/Successful with PIV placements
Nice To Haves
- Chemo/Bio course completion within 3-4 months of hire
- VABC is not required but highly encouraged after 2 years on our team.
