Registered Nurse I or Registered Nurse II - CHS (Cottonwood)
About The Position
Yavapai County Community Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide primary care services supporting the health and well-being of the community. The position delivers patient-centered care, manages chronic conditions, and promotes wellness through education and preventive services. The nurse works as part of a collaborative team in a clinical setting and helps improve the health and well-being of Yavapai County residents. The Registered Nurse I provides nursing services including direct patient care, care management, and provider support; supports back-office operations by optimizing clinic workflow; completes medication refills and tasks, prior authorizations, and patient inquiry triage; and serves as a nursing resource for other back-office staff. The Registered Nurse II performs these nursing and workflow functions, serves as a resource for other back-office staff, and oversees equipment and supply inventory and ordering. Both roles perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be a Registered Nurse from an accredited school.
- Registered Nurse I: No nursing experience is required.
- Registered Nurse II: At least three years of relevant nursing experience.
- Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Possess a current Arizona nursing license.
- Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Professionals.
- Possess a current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, care management, and provider support.
- Support back-office operations by optimizing clinic workflow.
- For Registered Nurse I, complete medication refills and tasks, prior authorizations, and triage patient inquiries.
- Serve as a resource for back-office staff on patient consultations and inquiries, using nursing knowledge and expertise.
- For Registered Nurse II, oversee equipment and supply inventory and ordering.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
