About The Position

Provide advanced direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Serve as an expert consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. Contributes to defining, directing and evaluating the nursing care and functions of clinical staff. Manage clinical research projects in support of evidence-based practice and disseminates findings. Develop, implement and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CNS program.
• Active APRN / CNS Licensure and Board Certification (AGCNS-BC or equivalent).
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) or Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical expertise in neuro-critical care or interventional neurovascular nursing.
