University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality home care services to our patients in Detroit, and surrounding areas in MI. As a Registered Nurse - Home Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized nursing care in the comfort of patients' homes, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation for travel.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health or community-based nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing assessments, treatments, and education to patients in their homes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical information accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Educate patients and caregivers on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
