Registered Nurse - Forensic Unit
About The Position
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Forensic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Med/Surg in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. As a Forensic RN, you will be responsible for: Admitting and assessing patients, Administering medication and treatments, Monitoring vital signs and symptoms, Running and ordering tests, Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists as well as educational programs as needed, Charting patient progress and anything necessary regarding patient care, Providing education to patients and family members related to health prevention, maintenance and restoration.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
- Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
- Employee must have valid BLS upon hire.
- ACLS and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
