About The Position
The Registered RN is a professional caregiver and member of a multidisciplinary health care team. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame, supervises and provides care to those patients, and uses the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of acute care RN experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty area for which the candidate is applying.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (NJ-RN) license.
- Current New Jersey Basic Life Support (NJ-BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Current NJ-CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) certification is preferred.
- Certain specialties may require advanced certification, such as ACLS, NALS, or PALS.
