About The Position

The Float Pool RN performs nursing duties in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. They may function as a charge nurse or staff nurse and supervise other nursing personnel responsible for patient care. The Float Pool RN is capable of making independent decisions in the majority of situations and can direct patient care provided by others. They serve as a resource to other employees and are responsible and accountable for prescribing and coordinating all nursing care provided on the unit utilizing the nursing process.

Requirements

• Two years of related experience.
• Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
• Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License
• Healthcare Provider (CPR)
• Ability to effectively adapt to changing situations.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to adapt to multiple work environments in a variety of different types of nursing units.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Qualifications as designated in Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy

Nice To Haves

• 4 Years RN related experience, preferred.
