Registered Nurse - Field Assessor - Bluffton, SC
About The Position
LHC Group is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse Field Assessor in Bluffton, South Carolina. The Field Assessor completes hands-off long-term care insurance assessments, gathering claimant demographics, physician information, and current medication lists and evaluating functional independence. Assessments also include a brief cognitive screening and evaluation of the claimant’s ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). The role uses a point-of-care web application on a laptop or tablet for real-time documentation. The position is not eligible for benefits. Compensation may include per-visit-point pay for visits and hourly pay for certain non-visit activities, such as orientation. The posting provides an annual total cash target range based on full-time hours and full productivity, as well as per-visit-point and hourly ranges. Compensation varies with factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, productivity, and performance. Requirements
- Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
- Technological aptitude to use a point-of-care web application or system on a laptop or tablet for real-time documentation.
