About The Position

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a full-time, 40-hour Registered Nurse (RN) to support their Family Medicine practice located at 1 Widger Road, Marblehead, MA. This practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is part of the Mass General Brigham Medical Group, which focuses on delivering high-quality, low-cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. The RN will perform traditional clinical duties including phone triage, office visits, patient education, injections, and in-basket management. The practice is supported by a collaborative team of physicians, RNs, medical assistants, and front desk staff, with each RN responsible for supporting a designated group of physicians. The role involves direct patient care and support within an outpatient setting, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] required.
  • Clinical nursing experience of 0-1 year required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
  • Ambulatory care or outpatient experience of 1-2 years preferred.
  • Primary Care experience.
  • Outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
  • Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Perform traditional clinical duties including phone triage, office visits, patient education, injections, and in-basket management.
