About The Position

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a full-time, 40-hour Registered Nurse (RN) to support their Family Medicine practice located at 1 Widger Road, Marblehead, MA. This RN will perform traditional clinical duties including phone triage, office visits, patient education, injections, and in-basket management. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is supported by a collaborative team. The RN will be responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting, ensuring high nursing standards, conducting patient assessments, devising care plans, and assisting in outpatient procedures. They will also educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare professionals, administer medications, perform IV therapy, maintain accurate patient records, and uphold infection control protocols.

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] required.
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred.
Primary Care experience.
Outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Perform traditional clinical duties including phone triage, office visits, patient education, injections, and in-basket management.
Support a designated group of physicians.
