About The Position

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Family Medicine department in Wichita, KS. This is a full-time, day shift position. Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate holistic patient journeys by aligning with various healthcare disciplines to ensure care is seamless, well-communicated, and effective.
• Drive patient recovery outcomes through the diligent implementation and monitoring of personalized care plans, acting as the primary advocate for the patient’s clinical needs.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care by executing physician and nursing orders with precision, ensuring every action adheres to the highest safety and organizational standards.
• Champion safe transitions of care by assessing and coordinating discharge needs early, ensuring patients and their families are fully prepared for life beyond the hospital walls.
