About The Position

This is a Registered Nurse position in an Emergency Room. The facility is a free-standing ED with no RT or pharmacy on site. The RN will be responsible for RT roles and pharmacy duties. The position involves caring for 15% pediatric patients and performing procedures such as sedation and RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation). The RN will also manage drains, port-a-cath/vascular device access/care, syringe pumps, and triple lumen catheters. Candidates from any other providence facility (non-Swedish) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with Trach Care.
• Experience with Cardio version/defib.
• Experience with Breathing tx.
• Experience with Feeding Tube management.
• Experience with PICC line management.
• Experience with Rapid Infuser.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced travelers preferred.
