Registered Nurse - EP Lab
About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. This is a 5x8s day shift position, working from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There is no on-call requirement, but a late day rotation is expected, meaning you may stay after 5:30 PM to complete a case. No weekend requirements. This role is in a heavy ablation lab, and scrubbing, knowledge, and experience with ablations and the associated equipment are key. The ability to scrub devices, including leadless pacemakers, is also essential. While we do not require travelers to monitor, EP procedures will include scrubbing and circulating. Scheduling is typically block but may vary based on unit needs. Scrubs will be provided.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- EPIC experience
- Ability to scrub EP cases
- Familiar with EP equipment
Nice To Haves
- First time travelers are acceptable if they have the proper experience level
Responsibilities
- Scrubbing EP cases
- Circulating EP cases
- Knowledge and experience with ablations and the equipment
- Ability to scrub devices, including leadless pacemakers
- May float to support other areas in the hospital in the event of a pandemic
- May float to the Cath Holding Room to pull sheaths and support Holding Room staff
