About The Position

Trinity Health Livonia is seeking an experienced Canadian Registered Nurse to join their Emergency Department team. This is a part-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekend and holiday commitments. The Emergency Department is a 53-bed, fast-paced, dynamic environment providing comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages. As a Level II Trauma Center, the ER team delivers advanced, life-saving interventions and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to manage critical cases, emphasizing excellence in patient care, rapid decision-making, and compassionate service.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
• BLS required.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
• Previous medical surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe.
• Coordination and evaluation of care.
• Teaching and delegation of patient activities to other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
