About The Position

This is a full-time, Mid Shift position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The hospital is a 238-bed community hospital network, certified by The Joint Commission, employing over 1,250 healthcare workers and a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for patients from neonatal to geriatric, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills in the nursing process. The RN must be able to provide competent care for patients throughout the lifespan.

Requirements

• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required within 90 days of hire date.
• Two years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Shift (8 or 12 hour) accountability for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients from neonatal to geriatric which are assigned to his/her care.
• Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in the application of nursing process skills to effect managed care.
• Provide competent care for patients throughout the life span, from infancy through geriatric.
