Find your calling at Mercy! Position Details: Mercy Fort Smith has undergone a $162 million expansion of its ER and ICU. The ER has expanded from 29 to 50 rooms, and the ICU went from 38 to 64 rooms. This expansion enabled approximately 25,000 additional patient visits per year. This significant development allows us to better meet the needs of our community in a world-class environment. Requirements

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Currently hold a valid RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room.
Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
Administer medications and treatments.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records.
