Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Services Job Type: PRN | Varied Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Varied shifts, Will need to be available to work one major holiday and two weekend shifts per month. Requirements

  • Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred.
  • Advanced Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCSS and Handle with Care preferred.
  • 1+ years ED or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
